Internet connection sharing hardware solutions fall into two categories, hubs and broadband routers.  A broadband router allows all of your computers to share a single IP address on the internet. A hub based connection sharing solution is not really a sharing solution since it requires your ISP to give you an IP address for each computer on the internet. The next pages will explain these concepts in more detail.
